Legal requirements
Watsonia RSL is only licensed to serve alcohol to persons over 18 years of age. All guests must comply with the Responsible Service of Alcohol Laws. The venue’s decision regarding removal of patrons from Watsonia RSL is final.
Confirmation
Bookings are deemed confirmed when the required deposit is received and the Booking Confirmation & Conditions form is signed and returned to the venue’s Function Coordinator.
Security
Watsonia RSL requires security for functions at the discretion of the Function Manager. However, it is policy that a minimum of 2 security guards per function that have more than 100 people in attendance. Please contact your Function Manager for further information.
Technology
Our Functions Manager can help plan your next conference, seminar workshop, meeting or training session. We have a large Retractable Projector Screen, Digital Screen Projector, Integrated Lighting and Sound System, Roaming Microphones, Lectern and Wireless Internet Access.
Music
Watsonia RSL plays an automatic play list of current music. DJ’s / Bands can be hired on your behalf to applicable areas only. Production and equipment costs may also apply. Please consult the Functions Team for any additional music enquiries.
Decorations
You may add your own special touch to your Function by bringing your own decorations. Please liaise with the Functions Team. ** Please be reminded that you may not stick anything to our walls in the Function Room Areas. **
